Eco-Friendly Candles: Why Wax Matters

In a world increasingly focused on sustainability, even the small choices we make can have a significant impact on the environment.Did you know that some candles are toxic? Especially when burnt in a poorly ventilated space can be harmful due to the release of chemicals like volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter.

What do we use in our t.&toff candles?

All our t.&toff candles are made from our signature wax blend of mineral and rapeseed wax. Paired with a natural wooden wick and clean wax means our candles burn more slowly and evenly.

Our blend of synthetic and natural wax is vegan friendly and ensures an excellent hot and cold scent throw - meaning we don't have to overload it with fragrance to get an excellent fragrance output.

But what about the fragrance?

Not only can the wax be toxic but so can the fragarnce. At t.&toff we only use clean essential oils, molecules and allergen free fragrance oils. Be sure to avoid candles created with synthetic chemicals as they can cause respiratory issues or skin irritation.
